For the last few years, Farmada Freeride has connected biking with local communities. Biking not only benefits our health, but the social and economic entity of the places with live, work, and play in. So we would like to now announce our first marquee event that combines biking and the community. This is Bikes, Burgers, and Brews!
Since the beginning of this year, we’ve been working along side with the Macomb County Planning & Economic Development to create Bikes, Burgers, and Brew. It will be located at the epicenter of Macomb County and a city on the rise, Mt. Clemens!
The ride will start in Downtown Mount Clemens in the parking lot directly across from Orleans Sports Cafe. From there the route will take you down to the trailhead of Freedom Trail. This trail will take you to Lake St. Clair Metropark (Metrobeach). You will follow along their beautiful trail that will take you along the shoreline. The halfway meeting point will be located at the most southern point of the Metropark. From there you can take a break, have some refreshments, and enjoy the entertainment and view of Detroit’s skyline down the water! Riding back, you’ll enter Mt. Clemens with a greet of discounted food and drinks, along with entertainment and resources both related and non-related to biking.
